Hey lovelies, I hope you are all having a great week ?
It is Wednesday which means ......
Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
This week the challenge is
Fun In The Sun
We are showcasing Mama Elephant Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would sure love to see them used!
The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post!
You can join 5 times so you could have 5 chances to win! How AWESOME is that!! All winners are chosen randomly, so everyone has an equal chance to win! Woo Hoo!! Good Luck to everyone! The Design Team is looking forward to seeing your fun in the sun makes and will pop around to visit you ASAP!
I am going to confess that I adore Mama Elephant...I bet you are saying "well I never see you create with their products" well that is because I hoard it, I sit and look at the cute & pretty designs that I never want to get dirty with ink (I know crazy right) So for this challenge I refused to buy anything new and actually ink up one of the sets I have been hoarding. I have used the super cute Rowdy Raccoons...another Tracy fact I LOVE raccoons.
How cute is he ? I coloured him up using a couple of Copics from my huge collection of 10 pens & used the Co-ordinating dies to cut him out, I also added some gel pen details to him.
The background I used Distress Oxides in - Cracked Pistachio, Squeezed Lemonade & Worn Lipstick and added some splatter detail with some water and also I used Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen in gold.
I used stamped the sentiment using Simon's Clear ink & Fine Detail embossing powder and used Mama Elephants Landscape Trio Die to cut the little hill.
To finish off I created a notecard with Simon's Smoke Card and adhered the whole piece together.
And there you go I finally inked up one of my hoarded sets and it wasn't actually that painful to do :)
So now it's YOUR turn. Happy Crafting
Do you use Instagram ? If so please add #ssswchallenge to your challenge entry uploads so we can see them on there too !
