Before I get onto my cards for this week did you know Simon currently has a children's challenge running ? The theme is Anything Goes with Sparkle and runs until 29th July and they can win a fantastic goody bag full of crafty bits. The challenge is open for ages 2-16 and all the info can be found by clicking the banner below.
I don't know why but color themes are always something I struggle with. But this week I knew I wanted to do something with the Simon Says Flower Cluster Die. So I grabbed two Distress inks- Blueprint Sketch & Candied Apple and just went from there.
I did a wash background with each colour onto some watercolour card and left them to dry. I then die cut the Flower Cluster die 6 times so I could adhered 3 together for each card to add some dimension.
For the sentiments I used SSS Kind Flowers stamp set and stamped them in SSS Intense Black Ink and trimmed both pieces down.
I then adhered everything to each piece and onto an a2 top folding notecard.
They needed something extra so I used some Studio Katia Crystal Fashion Sequins to finish them both off.
So now it's YOUR turn. Happy Crafting
