Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge| Stencil it

Hey lovelies, Sorry for my absence over the last couple of weeks I have been poorly and not even been able to get into my craft room.


But I am all better and back with another Challenge from Simon Says Stamp.





It is new challenge time over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Stencil It

My favourite stencil of all time is Simon's Star Medallion so I just had to use it for this challenge.

I went into the craft room with no plan other than using this stencil and it was quite nice to just play around. I used some Canson watercolour cardstock and added a very light wash of Distress Spun Sugar.


I used Distress Oxides through the stencil (all are listed below) and then with the stencil still in place I added some Nuvo Glimmer Paste. I wanted this to have a slight messy look to it so i didn't take the Oxides, or Gimmer Paste all the way to the edge of the stencil.

Once all dry I added some random splatters and the sentiment which i love.


Rather than go with a white card base I used Simon's Smoke Grey cardstock and the card was done.

    Stunner is the word I will use! Because this card is perfect is every way. The colors blend perfectly and the shine from the paste accentuates them so beautifully! :) So glad to see that you are doing better now :D xx Ankita
