So you may remember that in my last blog post I mentioned finding a pile of cards I had made over the Christmas period that I had totally forgotten about...well today I decided to blog some of them.
One of the main things I want to start doing a lot more of is sending cards just for the sake of it, or to just make someone smile, so I wanted to start making a stockpile of the cards so I have them ready to go.
And that is where these cards came in, they was easy to create and perfect for any occasion.
I created the cards using my Spectrum Aqua Markers onto some Strathmore card stock and then added the beautiful Cottage Stems Die from Simon Says Stamp.
For this card I used Spectrum Aqua markers- Aquamarine & Purple
This one I tried to go for a lot softer look and used Peach & Blossom Aqua Markers and also added some flicks of colour.
This one I thought the colours went well with the sentiment and used Sunflower & Amber markers.
And for the final one I used Seq Green & Magenta Aqua Markers...I think this one is my favorite.
For all the cards I adhered two of the die cuts together to give them some dimension.
They are all A2 sized so it shows what a lovely size die the Cottage Stem die is.
For the sentiments I used Pink Fresh Studio Felicity Sticker phrases. I don't often use stickers, don't get me wrong I own lots but can never bring myself to use them !...I know I am a total weirdo.
These just seemed so perfect for the cards and I loved the sentiments and fitted perfectly at the base of the die.
I die cut the panel using Stitched rectangle from MFT Blueprints 29.
I adhered some fun foam to the back of the panel as it was pretty warped from the water.
I finished each card off with some sequins.
And there you go some whatever the occasion cards all ready to go.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and also I have to say a huge thank you for all the emails, cards and messages about my health you guys don't know how much it all means. THANK YOU so so much.
I do have some other cards from the pile I will be blogging soon.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Happy Crafting
