Hey lovelies, I hope you are all having a great week :)
Today I wanted to share with you my cards for this months Spectrum Noir challenge.
In case you hadn't seen we have changed the challenge up a bit and the theme is always Anything Goes, but in order to win a Spectrum Noir prize package you need to follow the optional theme, which this month is Christmas.
I made not one card, but 3 for the challenge...well they are all similar just some different colours :)
I couldn't resist this set when Clearly Besotted released it and have used it on most of my cards for close friends and family, I really do love him and so much fun to colour.
I used my Spectrum Noir Colourblend Pencils to colour all 3 and my IG1 & IG2 markers to draw a snowy ground (show up better in real life).
I coloured each image the same other than their saddles and scarfs and then I matched the trims down the side of the card to that colour.
I added some glitter detailing using my Quicky Glue pen and Elizabeth Crafts Diamond Glitter to this one, but I dont like the purple tone it gave so I would miss that out in future, for the others I used my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen which looks better.
For the sentiments I used the Basic Banner 3 set and matching die and stamped using Ranger dye ink.
For the background I used a snow stamp from last months Hero Arts kit with some silver pigment ink to give some shimmer, really like how this turned out.
The paper I used is sadly not in stock anywhere ( I am guessing it has been discontinued), it is Lawn Fawn 12 x 12 Peace Joy Love.
I resisted adding any sequins etc to these as I thought they didn't really need it.
I hope you all like the cards, I really do highly recommend the set to everyone.
Don't forget to check out the challenge.
Have a lovely weekend and happy crafting
