Hello lovelies.
I hope you are all well and that you have had a nice weekend...and for my all my lovelies in USA I hope you have all had a great Thanksgiving.
Today I ams ahring my latest creation for Crafter's Companion International Inspiration Team.
I challenged myself with this one and decided to use no patterned papers or embossing folders...what do you think.....
I have used Die'sire Mistletoe die and coloured it using the new Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens.
The sentiment and border die are both gifts from the latest Crafter's Companion Magazine.
I did something a little different with the border die, i cut it out but then reattached it too the piece of card and i really how the effect looked. I added some colour to the bottom of the die using the same Sparkle pen.
I finished off with some twine
This Picture shows the sparkle on these pens, and also how highly pigmented they are. This was cut from Kraft Card and as you can see it covers it really well.
It was so hard not too put some patterned paper behind the lattace area on the die, but i am really glad i didn't.
I have listed below all items used.
Happy Crafting
x

ReplyDeleteTracy, I'm glad you didn't add the patterned paper since it's perfect just as it is! SO pretty and love the sparkle and that wonderful border die too.Sorry I haven't been around - took a little time off. Lynn
ReplyDeleteHey Tracy, I meant to ask you the name of the die you got from the mag....any idea...cheers, x { aNNie}
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info Tracy, sadly not available as yet here in Aussie that I could google...x
ReplyDeleteThe way you cut the die and popped it back in place is so incredibly effective and it doesn't need any DP behind..it looks so elegant just raised a little but still keeping the lovely Kraft on Kraft effect. The sparkly mistletoe is gorgeous and I am trying to resist those sparkly pens...hard when you keep showing me what they can do!Big hugs, Kat xx
