Morning lovelies, It is 1st of the month which means new challenge time over at the Visible Image Blog
The theme is Make it sparkle and you could win £20 to spend on lovely stamps, just make sure you have used a Visible Image Stamp !
For my DT make I have used :
And the Sentiment from Fae Stamp Set
I have stamped onto Crafter's Companion Watercolour Card and then coloured using my Spectrum Noirs- LV3,PL5,PL4,PL3,PL2,PL1. I then used my glue pen and went round all the stamped lines and sprinkled over some glitter.
I am really happy how this turned out....especially as i am not really a glitter person. It is also a special card to me...I am not a very public person about my health, but among my various problems I have a condition called Fibromyalgia...is it a horrible lifelong disease, the butterfly is embraced as the symbol for Fibro (a brilliant explanation can be found here ) and purple is also the fibro colour, the sentiment just seemed perfectly fitting too.
Don't forget if you don't have a blog you can still enter the challenge, just head on over to the Facebook Group and enter via there :)
Cannot wait to see your entries.
Good Luck and Happy Crafting
x

ReplyDeleteI never knew that huni! I do wish you had told me as that is one of my issues, along with the RA, ME and IBS! I always thought the yellow ducky was the symbol but I do love that butterfly - you have coloured and glittered it brilliantly. I hope you are having a good week and not flaring and I will check out that link as I've not heard of that - so thank you two times over Karen xx
