A few christmas cards to share...

Morning everyone, I hope everyone is well and in the festive spirit ?
I wanted to show you a couple of my Christmas cards I have made for family.
I am a long term lover of IndigoBlu, Especially their Flakes, if you have never used really missing out ! I have used these for cards, Altered Items, Homewares & Scrapbooking, they really are a fantastic product...and so much fun to use !
How I have used them for my cards though is how most people use them and is with rubber stamping.
IndigoBlu have a special glue (FlitterGlu) Which is applied with a sponge to your stamp, After you have stamped your image you then apply your flakes, pressing into the image/sentiment, then using your sponge you "rub" off the excess and you are love with a fantastic finished effect.
Anyway let me show you some pictures so you can see...

One thing I like to do is run some FlitterGlu around the edge and add some flakes to create a border.
The below picture shows you just how pretty these flakes are.
There is some great colours in these flakes, the ones I have used above are Winter Dawn, it is mainly silver with golds, Greens & some blues running through it.

Below is another card done in the same way but using Manchester Tart which is Gold & Silver with some beautiful copper tones.

The paper I have used was purchased from That Craft Place and is from Anthentique and is from their Tradition Collection. I then just added some Raffia and mounted onto some deckled edge cards.
I hope you like the cards, and that I have inspired you to give the flakes a go.
Happy Crafting :) x
