For my card I just couldn't resist using the cute Kobi's Ice Day (all supplies are listed and linked at the end of this post) I really do think this set is a great winter/holiday stamp set.
I started off by creating the background with Distress Inks and then using the Dotted Patterns Set 3 to die cut the panel out, at the same time I also die cut some Neenah Card stock with the Trimmings Borders Die set and also the make sure the edges matched I also used the Dotted Pattern Die.
I stamped and coloured the penguins using Spectrum Noir Markers and then then started on the "snow" I used WOW's Seafoam White Embossing powder and once I had two layers of this I then used the Sparkling Snow Embossing powder for some shimmer.
I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment using WOW's White Embossing powder and then started to assemble the card.
I adhered the "snow" panel flat to the inked piece and then popped the penguins up using some foam tape.
I tried, but couldn't resist adding some of the iridescent Ice flakes scattered around the card.
I love the sparkle and texture on the snow and think its the perfect combination for that winter look.
