Simon Says Stamp Fun & Festive

Hey lovelies, I hope you are having a great weekend ?

I am late to the party with this post. If you follow me on social media you will have seen that I had an accident and hurt my arm, my crafting arm !! I had cards all half-finished that I couldn't finish as I have spent the week resting my arm. Whilst I am still getting some pain I can use it again now and couldn't wait to get back to my craft room.

As I am sure you have seen Simon's latest release is now live and is called Fun & Festive.

I will list the products at the end of this post, but if you wanted to check them out as a whole then the release can be found here. If you order today and enter the code FEST587 you will receive a free bottle of Stickles.

Fun & Festive Blog HopThere is also a two-day blog hop happening right now over on the Simon Says Stamp blog so make sure you check it out here

Onto my cards that I have created so far with products from this realise.

My first card is using a beautiful holiday stamp set with a difference.

The stamp set is called Mele Kalikimaka and is a nice Hawaiian themed set with this gorgeous large wreath stamp as the main stamp, it also features some shell stamps, and a large sentiment.

I stamped it off page and used Polychromo Pencils to colour the whole wreath and then used a simple sentiment from another SSS set, I really wanted the wreath to be the focal point of this card.

For the second card I one of the new dies called Dancing Deer and created a shaker....I know I know me creating a shaker card !! But this was fun to do.

I die cut the deer from Simons Ivory card stock multiple times after running the card through my Xyron and then adhered them all together, adding some acetate between the top and second piece which I then careful cut around the edge.

The card base I added some gold splatter using Spectrum noir Sparkle Pen and also added some Studio Katia Crystals. That lovely Merry Christmas Sentiment is from another New stamp set from the release called Critter Sweaters and I heat embossed that using WOW embossing powder.

I added some seed beads to the deer shaker, making sure there was some in the legs, head and antler areas and added some acetate to the back to finish off the shaker element.

I then adhered this to the card base and it was complete.

Love the possibilities with this die and can see it being used a lot.

So what did you think of this release ? What was your favourite ? and have you gone shopping yet ? I know quite a few products are on reserve but know Simon is working hard to get them all back in stock soon and you can still purchase these items, but your whole order won't ship until everything is in stock.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you all have a great Sunday.

Happy Crafting.
