Hello lovelies, I hope you are having a great start to your weekend ?
Its Saturday and it is time for another Simon Saturday.
As you probably know by now I try and stretch my stash as much as possible, even more so for holiday cards.
Simon's latest card kit included a beautiful floral stamp set which includes a very pretty floral cluster. The kit has sold out but the stamp set can be purchased here.
I decided to colour the floral cluster in a "holiday style" and pair it with Simon's Merry Christmas Stamp.
I used Arteza Brush Pens along with my water brush to colour the images and kept it fairly simple using just one colour on the flowers.
I love using script stamps over other stamps like this, especially embossed.
I am really happy how this came out and I adore this Beautiful Flowers Stamp set, I especially like the sketch style of it.
Have you ever used non holiday stamp sets for holiday cards ? If so I'd love to see :)

OHMYSTARS - on two counts! First, your Christmas card is stylish, classy and all-around gorgeous! I think you and your new markers are forging a wonderful relationship! The blooms...such rich, vibrant colour. I've not often used non-Christmas images for Christmas cards, but seeing this has certainly sparked ideas...
