Simon Saturday| March Card Kit

Hey guys, I hope you are all having an awesome week ?

I have moved my blog to a different server etc this week so if things look a bit different that is why, also if you spot any bugs/problems then please let me know :)

I got to play with the Simon Says Stamp March kit this week and wanted to share what I created with you.

I have had a couple of people mention that Simon have increased their price of their card kit. They have increased the price but they have also increased what you get in the kit, for example in this months kit you get two stamp sets which previously you only got one. I think it is still amazing value at $34.99 ($29.99 if you subscribe) as most stamp sets are $15.99 each so you are only paying a couple of dollars more for the rest of this kit.

The march kit has now sold out, but I will link to the products indivually below.

Simon have also released a limited Edition Spring kit which I know is very limited in stock (as i am typing this there is some stock remaining but i do not know for how much longer that will be there). As you can see below you get a TON of fantastic spring and easter themed goodies, and the kit includes Alcohol inks and some goodies from Thermoweb.

If you get the kit then make sure you share what you create as I love seeing what you all create with all the kits.

Anyway onto my cards. I set myself a little challenge to see how many cards I could create in 1 hour from the kit and the answer was....3 ! I know pretty sad right, I have to admit it was kinda hard because so many of the pretty papers and stickers from this kit I really didn't want to use (they are the kind I put in my "look at don't use pile"). It also didn't help that one of the dogs was demanding attention whilst i was doing this so i did get distracted a few times.

That being said I'm happy with the 3 i did create.

The first one was super quick and I created a 4 bar sized card. I used some of the paper along with some kraft card from my stash.

I heat embossed a sentiment from one of the stamp sets onto some kraft card and then adhered this to one of the sticker tags. I added some twine and foam tape to the back and adhered this to the paper and card base. To finish off I added some Nuvo Jewel Drops.

Included in the kit was a Tonic Nuvo clear shimmer pen so i decided to use that along with some Distress Inks to color the sweet duck image.

How cute is he !!! I went with some basic colouring and loved how he turned out. I added a strip of paper from the kit along the bottom and also used one of the card bases from the kit.

For the last card I tried to use just the paper pad, but ended up adding one of the sticker elements as it looked too bare without it. This was another quick card.

I love the colours in this kit, I am a very earthy tone kinda gal but also love splashes of brighter colours such as pinks and yellows so this kit really was perfect for me, plus all the beautiful florals I just love.

So there we go 3 cards, 1 hour. I will try and do this again next month...but without the dogs around this time :)

I am going to change the giveaway a bit from now on. This is for 2 reasons..I have had people contact me saying they always miss the deadline for entering and also I want to give people a better chance of winning.

So from this month on I will be running 1 giveaway a month BUT you will be given 2 chances to enter.

The giveaway will now always take place at the end of the month Simon Saturday post. If you comment on both Simon Saturday posts that month you will be entered into the giveaway TWICE.

Example is if you comment on this post (March 3rd) and the next Simon Saturday post (March 17th) then you will be given 2 entries into the draw where the winner will be announced on my Simon Saturday post on March 31st.

I hope this makes sense....let me know if you have any questions.

I will also be mixing up what I do as a will always be Simon themed, but will be ether products, kits or Gift Certificates.

I'm hoping that by doing this more people will get more chances to enter. I am also hoping to do more random giveaways more often on my blog so make sure you check that out. You guys are always so kind to me that I want to find more ways of saying thank you.

Now the winner of my last Simon Saturday giveaway is.......

Oh Goodness, that Rose is simply Stunning, I am differently going to try this technique! Not sure i have those pencils, but Love it! TFS 👏👏👏💗

Thank you for your lovely comment Pam if you could drop me an email at to claim your prize (please let me know if you would like the voucher or goodie bag). Prize must be claimed before march 8th

Thank you all so much for stopping by today, I love to read your comments and I hope you all have an amazing day.
