Hiya lovelies, I hope you are all well :)
The card I am sharing today was meant to have a video with it, but when i went to edit it there was some sort of strange light thing going on, so no video today !
I have used the Hot stuff Stamp set from Clearly Besotted (all links are below) for this card.
I was VERY lucky to get an awesome gift from hubby last week. A gorgeous set of Mission Gold Water colours, people who know me well know how much I love water colours ( I used to water colour before i got into paper crafting) and the Mission Gold have been at the top of my want list for a long time, but at £200 a set I just couldn't justify buying them, but Amazon has recently dropped the price on them and hubster grabbed them for me....I was like a kid at Christmas when they arrived.
I have said I will do a short review on them when I get chance, but I did use them for the first time to create the background of this card and have to admit I really am loving them so far.
I have linked below, I know they are still on offer at the moment, but obviously I am not sure when that will change.
I have coloured this little cutie using my Spectrum Noir Markers and added some of the Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle to his little horns. I added some dot detail to give some texture and couldn't resist adding some white gel pen dots to his cheeks.
I fussy cut him out and adhered him to the water colour background using 3D foam Tape.
The sentiment is from another stamp set, I wanted a simple sentiment and as he looks like he is waving i thought this one was perfect. I white heat embossed it onto some Matt black card stock. I then used So to Speak dies from Clearly Besotted and run that through my Die Cutting machine.
To give some dimension, and to keep the water colour panel flat I adhered it too some fun foam.
I used a sheet of paper from Lawn Fawn's Let's Polka In The Meadow and die cut using Stitched Rectangle die to match the water colour piece. I then created a card base the same size..It is slightly larger than A2 and adhered everything onto the base.
Me being me I couldn't resist adding some sequins to finish the card off.
I am thinking of making several more of these but in different colours and all saying something different.
Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you liked the card.
As always a full product list along with direct links is below.
Have a great day & happy crafting
