Morning lovelies,
I hope you are all having a nice weekend ?
Now unless you have been living under a rock you would have heard about the fantastic new Spectrum Noir Pencils...these pencils are totally amazing. They are a wax pencils and blend like a dream, they worked perfectly alongside your markers, but are perfect to use as a standalone medium.
They can be purchased from Crafter's Companion or most crafting retailers will be stocking them. There is also a new Spectrum Noir DVD which i highly recommend.
I wanted to share with you one of my recent cards that I did which used just the pencils.
The image I have used is one of the exclusive Digital images from Sharon Callis that is on the first Spectrum Noir DVD. Now there is 3 blending methods with the pencils:
You can use Blending Fluid and Paper Stumps
Blending Pencil
Or you can blend with just the pencils in a similar way that you do with your markers.
I have used the last method for this card and i am really happy with how it turned out.
I had planned a CAS card for this with no distressing or frantage...but as you can see that did not happen !
I hope you like what I have created with them, check back next week when i will be sharing some more pencil colouring with you
